American rapper Jackman Thomas Harlow unreleased new song titled “Nail Tech” reportedly leaked online.
“Nail Tech” is, the rapper’s first single of 2021. Jack Harlow’s first major breakthrough came with the release of his 2020 single “Whats Poppin”, which peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Jack Harlow’s first studio album, Thats What They All Say, was released on December 11, 2020, and debuted at number 5 on the US Billboard 200. In 2021, he was a guest on Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby”; it became number one on the Hot 100, becoming Harlow’s highest charting song overall and his first chart topper.
In January 2020, he released the single “Whats Poppin”. The song was widely shared on the TikTok social media platform, and the Cole Bennett-produced video has surpassed 135 million views as of May 2021. On Harlow’s 22nd birthday, March 13, 2020, he released a seven-track project called Sweet Action.
In May, Harlow released the single “Moana” with G-Eazy. The song became his second entry on the Canadian Hot 100, peaking at number 72. On June 24, 2020, Harlow released an official remix of “Whats Poppin” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, peaking at No. 2 on U.S. Billboard’s Hot 100 list. On August 11, Harlow was included in XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class.
On March 27, 2021, Harlow was featured as the musical guest on the 46th season of Saturday Night Live. He performed a medley of “Tyler Herro” and “Whats Poppin” for his first set and performed “Same Guy” with Adam Levine for his second set. He also appeared and performed a verse in the pre-recorded NFT-themed parody of “Without Me”.
After racking up around 250,000 total views on YouTube as of 2016, his 2017 project, Gazebo, was immediately met with a very positive reaction by fans and celebrities alike; launching his career to another platform. “Dark Knight”—the second song released off the album—eventually featured on the front page of Worldstar Hip-Hop and racked up 1,000,000+ views on YouTube. Additionally, he even got a co-sign for the aforementioned song from both Peter Rosenberg and fellow Louisville native Bryson Tiller.
Harlow is now associated with DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s Generation Now record label. In 2018, he released Loose. Harlow’s fourth official project and his first major release since signing with Generation Now and Atlantic Records, the project was a showcase of his increasing stardom, as he managed to get rap veteran CyHi The Prynce and former XXL Freshman K Camp to feature on the project. That same year, Harlow was even a guest performer at Genius’ very own IQ/BBQ. Jack was later named to the 2020 XXL Freshman list, himself.
His shot to stardom reached a peak it had never seen in 2020, as his song “WHATS POPPIN” acquired features from Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and Tory Lanez and made it to the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100.
On July 23, 2021, Harlow was featured on Lil Nas X’s single “Industry Baby” and appeared in the music video. Industry Baby would go number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 giving Harlow his first number one song on the chart.
